Emmanuel Macron Complains to Saudi Crown Prince: 'You Never Listen to Me'

A furious Emmanuel Macron faced down Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman as he vented his concerns over the slaying of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

On the sidelines of the summit French President Emmanuel Macron told the crown prince that Europe would insist on global experts being part of the investigation into Khashoggi's murder.

Salman, who has recently been accused by the worldwide community for the ordered killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and the country's role in the Saudi-led war in Yemen.

World leaders have condemned the incident, with Canada, France and Germany imposing sanctions on Saudi Arabia and UK Prime Minister Theresa May vowing to question the Crown Prince about it at the G20.

During the five-minute exchange, Salman is heard urging Macron not to worry, to which the French president promptly replied, "I am anxious".

Despite President Donald Trump's wavering, the Central Intelligence Agency has reportedly directly implicated MBS in Khashoggi's killing.
