Dozens hurt in floor collapse at SC apartment party

"Clemson student affairs representatives were dispatched to all three hospitals where injured individuals were being transported and are gathering more information at this time".

The video you are seeing (above) comes from Clemson University in SC, where this weekend, the clubhouse floor of an apartment building collapsed during a packed dance party filled with students.

Dancing partygoers at a SC clubhouse had their hands up in the air when the floor gave out beneath them.

People fell through the collapsed floor into the building's basement, Slann said. "People are under other people".

Jaylen Adams, who also attended the party, said the floor felt like a trampoline as people bounced to the music.

Women journalists rejoice as MJ Akbar resigns
Following these allegations, opposition parties as well as many media organisations have been demanding his resignation. Wahab's account of MJ Akbar's persistent sexual abuses against her are deeply upsetting and harrowing.

None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, Clemson Police Department said.

"Turning around and seeing a bunch of people who used to be on the second floor now on the basement was really surreal and people were crying. It was a lot to take in".

People could be heard screaming as they tried to claw their way out of the pool of injured bodies. He warned his friends and suggested a retreat to the balcony but the floor collapsed before they could make it.

Authorities said 30 people were rushed to nearby hospitals to be treated. A police investigation is in progress.

"We're continuing to gather information, and are encouraged by the initial reports of no life-threatening injuries", Clemson University said in a statement to ABC.
