Jose Mourinho hits out at players' attitude after Wolves draw

Jose Mourinho hits out at players' attitude after Wolves draw

Former manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in attendance at Old Trafford for the first time since suffering a brain haemorrhage in May and United were unable to secure a win.

The Premier League match between Manchester United and Wolves will be broadcast live on NBC Sports.

"I think the happiness, the confidence, the self-esteem was what pushed him to play the first match nearly without training against Leicester and played a very good match".

The Brazilian's crisp finish lifted United but not sufficiently to make the game safe and Wolves grabbed a deserved point in the second half when Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho curled a fine finish past David De Gea. "We know we can do better".

Mourinho's side go into the weekend six points behind leaders Chelsea, having lost two of their opening five matches, at Brighton and at home to Tottenham.

Martial scored in United's 3-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League on Wednesday, but the France global will have to settle for a place on the bench against Wolves.

Jose Mourinho made no bones about who he thought was to blame for Manchester United's 1-1 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday.

Jose Mourinho has warned that Manchester United's run of three wins in a row has not changed his view that it will be a "difficult" season for the club.

Given he had not played midweek, tiredness can not be the cause and Jose Mourinho did not look happy with his player before bringing him off.

"I can't explain the difference of attitude because I never had a difference of attitude", he said. "For me it is hard to explain that", said Mourinho.

The Manchester United legend is looking forward to seeing the side against the Red Devils at Old Trafford this afternoon.

"It's not about the biggest names, it is my team. An attitude. And again one team was coming to play the game of their lives, the other to relax".

"The football was good, they looked full of confidence, weren't scared take the ball, get it on their feet and play team-mates inside the box".
