The Browns have traded problematic wide receiver Josh Gordon to the New England Patriots for a fifth-round draft pick.

If the Patriots make the trade, it would give Tom Brady his most talented receiver since Randy Moss, who was also acquired in a high-risk, high-reward trade. Done deal. IT's for a conditional 5th round pick.

Gordon, 27, originally joined Cleveland as a second-round draft pick in the 2012 supplemental draft.

Shares of Apple closed down 0.8 percent in regular Nasdaq trade on Friday, and slipped another 1 percent in extended trading. Apple said the tariffs would raise the cost of its USA operations and put it at a disadvantage to foreign rivals.

Cleveland's decision to move on from Gordon came at the end of last week shortly after it was announced he would not play in the team's Week 2 game against the Saints.

Then, Gordon returned to the team days prior to the preseason finale only to suffer a hamstring injury that kept him out of practice until the Wednesday before the regular-season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Gordon's tantalizing talent had caused the Browns to hang onto him while he dealt with drug and alcohol dependence dating his teens.

Gordon emerged as one of pro football's most dynamic players in 2013, when he led the league with 1,646 yards receiving and scored nine touchdowns.

According to NFL Media's Mike Giardi, Gordon has yet to go through a physical with the Patriots, so perhaps, this is what Belichick is waiting for. He caught 56 passes for 718 yards and five touchdowns.
