Beef Between Cam Newton And Kelvin Benjamin Seems to Have Escalated

It appears Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton won't be squashing their beef anytime soon.

The comments that got the attention of Newton and plenty of other people - including Buffalo Coach Sean McDermott - featured this passage: "If you would've put me with any other quarterback, let's be real, you know what I'm saying?"

Prior to Thursday night's preseason game between Newton's Carolina Panthers and Benjamin's Buffalo Bills, Cam went over to speak with Benjamin. "It just felt like I wasn't in that position". Benjamin was traded to Buffalo during the season past year.

In an interview with The Athletic's Tim Graham last week, the Bills wide receiver explained that he wished he hadn't been drafted by the Panthers and lamented the fact that he had to play with a QB like Newton. "Just moving on from it". Newton followed Benjamin, but nothing positive seemed to come from their continued dialogue. After some more choice words, both players walked away with Newton waving him away.

Mugabe says he will vote for the opposition in Monday's poll
Mr Charisma has accused the incumbent party of dirty tactics as well as the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission of bias towards ZANU-PF. Mugabe described his November ousting as a coup, arguing that his rule was legitimate because he held elections every five years.

It's pretty safe to say if Kelvin Benjamin makes it to free agency, a reunion with Newton and the Panthers is not likely to happen.

Benjamin was later asked if this was at all hard for him considering how close he and Newton were when his career began in Carolina.

Neither will get the opportunity to hash things out since the two teams do not face each other in the upcoming season.
