Mexico and South Korea

The World Cup defending champions finished last in group F following a stunning 2-0 defeat to South Korea today.

Germany qualified for Russian Federation with a flawless record of 10 wins, but Hummels said the team had not played well since they wrapped up qualification late past year.

However, Mexico still advances to the next round in second spot thanks to Germany's defeat.

Some fans even flocked to the South Korean embassy in Mexico City to celebrate, chanting that Koreans are "our brothers".

They were on the verge of being knocked out by Sweden as they trailed by a goal but Kroos' injury-time victor revived Germany's hopes of becoming the first nation to defend the World Cup since 1962. The defence with practically non-existent in all three games and in midfield they were only able to come up with pretty passes. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer had not played a club match since September, centre-back Jerome Boateng had not been convincing for Bayern Munich and midfielder Mesut Ozil had a poor campaign for Arsenal.

And following their exit, the odds on England winning this summer's World Cup have shortened to 8/1.

Disney and Fox Deal Reportedly Near Antitrust Approval
The Fox sale would not include major assets such as the Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, and Fox Broadcasting Company. Disney will pay $71.3 billion in the deal, the companies announced Wednesday.

"I hope we can build on that, manage to improve and do better in the future". "We are very grateful", said Pablo Gonzalez, 45.

Sweden head coach Janne Andersson was full of praise for his side as they entered the last 16 on a high thanks to a morale-boosting win, to top what had been a tough-looking group.

'We're sorry for not playing like world champions, and as painful as it is, we deserve to be out'.

The Germans graciously congratulated their group rivals Mexico and Sweden on their progress, as well as South Korea on their famous victory.

"We need a couple of hours to see things clearly", Loew said. We'll have to talk about it calmly and I think it's premature for me to say something. I'm incredibly disappointed by this elimination'.
