Spandex is Making a Come-Back: Abba Just Recorded Two New Songs

The band's statement said the members reunited to plan a virtual tour featuring digital avatars, and made a decision to go back into the studio. The members called it "an extremely joyful experience" and said they are dropping two new songs. "And that feels good", the statement read. It was like time stopped and we just returned from a short vacation.

As ever though the success took its toll on the lives and personal relationships of the Abba band members Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad and the band split up late in 1982.

"We may be old, but these new songs".

The marriages within the group - Faltskog and Ulvaeus, Lyngstad and Andersson - broke up, but they are now all on friendly terms. Eventually, the band became one of the most commercially successful groups in the history of popular music. Instead, they will be sending their virtual avatars to perform in front of fans.

"We don't need the money, for one thing", he said.

Abba soared to success in 1974, when their song Waterloo won the Eurovision Song Contest. "I wasn't the only one with tears in my eyes".

In the song Avicii and Benny, and Bjorn from ABBA focus on not only honoring the legacy of Sweden, and the many natural wonders the small nation holds, but also music as a whole.

Details about the release date for their new songs have not been released yet.

Abba's Bjorn Ulvaeus previously said the pop sensations will never perform again because it would be "too enormous".

A sequel to the 2008 hit film Mamma Mia! is schedule to open in July.
