Dwyane Wade's future up in air after playoff revival

Dwyane Wade's future up in air after playoff revival

On Tuesday, the Miami Heat succumbed to the Philadelphia 76ers in a five-game series.

In an interview with Miami Heat team broadcaster Eric Reed after Game 5, Wade was also not saying much about what he plans to do next.

He continued that 'I love Philly, but ain't gonna be no breaking news here in Philly, ' before adding he meant to 'worry about that later'.

Wade's friend and former teammate, LeBron James, reserved his right to speak about his bestie's illustrious career until he makes a decision about whether he's going to continue playing.

Dwyane Wade might be ready to call it an end after 15 National Basketball Association seasons. Wade says he isn't ready to talk about that right now.

Wade, 36, carried the Heat to its lone playoff victory at age 36 and proved to be the team's best player in the postseason.

His head coach, Erik Spoelstra has been working with Wade since the guard was drafted in 2003.

Wade's wife, actress Gabrielle Union, addressed the topic in a tweet after Miami's loss. I don't know going into the summer of my 15th year, turning 37 next year, there's a lot of variables that go into it.

LAPD officials said all streets affected by the march will be closed from 10 a.m.to 6 p.m. There was also a large demonstration in California's "Little Armenia" on Tuesday.

Wade began the 2017-2018 season as a member of the Cavaliers after a one-year stint with his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls, ended with a buyout agreed to by both parties, but by mid-season, the roster changed over from a heavily veteran-laden team to one with several players who were in the early stages of their careers.

When asked by reporters about his future with the Heat, he simply stated: "We'll see".

Olynyk led the Heat with 18 points 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Additionally, he is second only to Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning in blocked shots (774) in Heat history.

Wade happily reunited with Miami at the trade deadline when the Cavaliers went through a rotational makeover with acquisitions like Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson.

"The elephant in the room, and not because of anything approaching oversized play in the playoffs", wrote Winderman. "Certain games where I don't know how good it is".

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report. "Each day that he's been back, I've just been trying to enjoy it".
