Queen Elizabeth II marks 92 years with celebrity concert

With less than a month to go before their wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dashing around London for official - and personal - engagements.

After nearly two hours of performances from a string of celebrities, including Australia's Kylie Minogue, the heir to the British throne joined the Queen on stage to wish her a happy birthday.

Queen Elizabeth is marking her 92nd birthday with a Saturday night concert in London featuring British singers such as Sting, Tom Jones and Jamie Cullum.

The Queen, who sat in the royal box with the royal couple, son Prince Charles and the Duke of Cambridge had left her seat by the time Sting and Shaggy returned for a medley of their biggest hits, including Mr Boombastic, Angel and Every Breath You Take.

Charles got an enthusiastic response when he introduced her as: "Your majesty, mummy".

Men arrested at Starbucks want 'this situation to never happen again'
On Wednesday, Johnson and Starbucks founder Howard Schultz met with Philadelphia church and community leaders. Ross wasn't discussing the policy yet, but said it will be pushed out at a later date.

'Would you all give Her Majesty three unbelievably rousing cheers on her birthday?' he encouraged. Yes, they did release a reggae album together called 44/876 which is quite good, but it is safe to safe that the unlikely duo was even a more unlikely choice to perform at a birthday party for a 92-year-old queen.

The reception was held earlier on Saturday ahead of a special concert event celebrating The Queen's 92nd birthday, also attended by Prince Charlies, Prince William, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Elizabeth was born on 21 April, 1926, and became queen in 1952 at the age of 25. Because of this announcement, Prince Charles will likely represent the queen in an honorary capacity at future commonwealth gatherings. But I think we have the ideal present, ' referring to the Queen's Commonwealth Trust charity of which he was appointed president last week.

During the meeting, the Queen made a remark about her preferred successor as the head of the Commonwealth.

However, her official birthday is on the second Saturday of June.
