Bucks Players Were Tuning Out Jason Kidd Due To His Demanding Style

Grant Hill, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash have been notified that each will be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame's Class of 2018, sources tell ESPN.

Per ESPN, other finalists for induction into the Hall of Fame are Ray Allen, Chris Webber, Charles Driesell, Rudy Tomjanovich, Baylor coach Kim Mulkey, Katie Smith, Tina Thompson, longtime National Basketball Association official Hugh Evans and the 1953-58 Wayland Baptist University teams.

Kidd ranks second in league history with 12,091 assists.

Hill, who played college at Duke, was drafted by the Pistons in 1994 with the third overall pick. A 10-time NBA All-Star and five-time All-NBA First-team selection, Kidd has his No. 5 jersey retired by the Nets franchise.

Nash has been a member of the Warriors staff for two years.

Nash made the All-NBA first team three times during his 18-year career with the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers, and helped kickstart the development of the sport in Canada with his freewheeling style. Nash last played in 2014, while Kidd and Hill last played in 2013.

Hill also played in the league for 19 years, but saw many injuries throughout his career. Making the All-Star team four times, along with being selected four times as a first-team All-NBA defensive player cemented Cheeks' reputation on the defensive side of the ball. He was the all-time leader in steals at the time of his retirement in 1993.

The duo brought seven assists titles to the Phoenix Suns organization despite never crossing paths and took the assist crown in 10 years out of a 13-year span from 1998 to 2011.

He has often been forgotten in regards to the Hall of Fame, but he won't be anymore.
