The E-VISION Sedan Concept is based on Tata's OMEGA EV architecture.

Like the H5X SUV and 45X hatchback concept that premiered at Auto Expo 2018, the EVision Concept is styled to Tata's latest Impact Design 2.0 design language. Similarly, there is silver trim on the lower edge of the bumpers and along the door sills and window line. Upholstered in wood and leather, the concept sure does look premium. The dashboard is a floating type one.

Having worked on electric vehicle solutions on Nano, Vista, Manza in the past at the Tata Motors European Technical Centre in United Kingdom, the company is likely to use these learnings to implement the solution in two new modular platforms in the future. And as you'd have imaged after seeing the H5X and the 45X, the E-Vision looks nothing like what you have seen from Tata Motors till date. The most important Hyundai in history? Inside, there aren't a lot of buttons to be found on the dashboard, which features a very clean appearance, interrupted only by the occasional LCD display or aluminum air vent. This is called the EVision Sedan Concept. Tata says the rear seats too are fully adjustable and promise to be big on headroom and knee room. Tata has derived this platform from sister company Land Rover's D8 architecture. As pr the engineers from Tata, there have been enough changes made to the underbody, to make it suitable for an EV.

Technical specifications are still being kept fairly quiet, but two motors - one at the front, one at the rear - and a power rating of just under 500bhp is expected, helping it to do 0-62mph in just under 3.5 seconds.
