Google Pay App Finally Rolling Out on Android

That means that users who bank with Bank of America in the USA or a Google partner like Mbank in Poland can set up Google Pay right from their bank's app without having to install Google Pay.

Further, XDA Developers notes that by not cutting the apps completely from the microphones, Google wants to ensure that the apps don't come up with a new way to bypass the new protection. The app for the same will be available from Google Play Store and will essentially serve as the amalgamation of Google Wallet and Android Pay. In the meantime, the Wallet app is now called Google Pay Send. Apple added Apple Pay to its MacOS operating system in 2016 - although it requires a connected iPhone or Apple Watch.

Kerala CM wishes Haasan well on launch of political party

In the coming months, Google Pay will allow users to send money back and forth to friends and family electronically. One notable change, though, is that the Google Pay home screen now shows you relevant stores around you where you can pay with Google Pay. Now, the Android P would keep a check on the apps running in the background from hijacking the camera and microphone of the smartphone. With the implementation of the new code in Android P, malicious apps will stand to lose the most. Google will use this app as the one-stop destination for users' shopping and other payment requirements. Google says more cities are also in the pipeline. Users who already have Android Pay installed on their devices will get the new application automatically the next time they get an update. The company has now started rolling out its new Pay app for Android devices. Google Pay can be used for transit in locations like Portland, London, and Kiev. Users will be redirected to the service's site where they need to sign in and give permission to Google Pay. "All of these are ways we've been working to make paying safer and easier for everyone, everywhere", Google said in a blog post. It will be nice once all of the integration is completed since using one app over using three different apps is definitely a good thing.
