During an earnings call today, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said this untitled and officially unannounced game will most likely debut in EA's Fiscal Year 2020.

The Star Wars Battlefront 2 with a better reputation, from 2005. However, the inclusion of loot boxes and the concept behind them quickly angered the community, resulting in a lot of negative feedback that EA is obviously still trying to deal with.

EA reported non-GAAP profit of $2.18 a share on revenue of $1.97 billion. With EA still weathering the storm from the bungled release of that game, it may seem unusual that the publisher is already discussing its plans for future games in the franchise. The sales fell short of expectations (10 million) and also means the company sold fewer copies then the 2015 Battlefront reboot in the same period of time (13 million). According to a new report by The Wall Street Journal, the game underperformed as EA only sold nine million units instead of the ten million they estimated. This was definitely a learning opportunity.

Investors aren't seeing that as a disaster. The company's stock declined 1 percent through Tuesday versus the S&P 500's 10 percent gain since EA reported its September quarter results on October 31. Recall that its goal is to sell 14 million copies before the end of this fiscal year, so the controversial project was not so far from its goal. We don't have exact details yet, but many are hoping for the removal of Star Cards, which have been a point of contention since the first alpha tests for the game. Many users complained about a pay-to-win system that forced DICE to remove the option to buy the in-game currency with real money.

Super Blue Blood Moon 2018
The second type is Monthly Blue Moon, known as the second Full Moon in a Georgian month as opposed to the usual one Full Moon. In order for a full moon to earn the right to be called a super moon it has to be within 226,000 miles from Earth.

Considering this was a much larger game than the original in terms of scale, with the dedicated single-player campaign mode missing from the first instalment, the poor sales will be a huge disappointment to Electronic Arts.

We've reached out to EA and will update the post if we get a response.

"Our diversity in portfolio, platforms, geographies, and business models is the foundation of a robust business that enables us to deliver dependable cash flow", said Jorgensen, in a statement. "We have a tremendous relationship with Disney".

"You shouldn't believe everything you read in the press". One of those is gameplay innovation. Will they ever contain only cosmetic items, as in a game like Overwatch? We saw it continue with Fortnite. We must always build on a foundation of player choice. "It is including core game play and map design".
