Caller reports himself driving drunk

Authorities in Florida are sharing an unusual 911 call they got on New Year's Eve from a man who said he was driving drunk and needed police.

I am trying to help you.

The dispatcher from Polk County Sheriff's office kept him talking while directing officers to the scene.

Caller: "I don't know, I'm too drunk".

The call lasted for several minutes and he even claimed he was driving on the wrong side of the road as auto horns could be heard.

Lester later insisted he had already pulled over.

As sirens can be heard in the background, Lester attempts to get off the phone with the dispatcher, but she refuses.

'Michael first told the deputy he had only two beers (standard drunk answer). He then changed the number to "three or four" while also admitting that he had only slept four hours in the last four days.

Cops have now released the audio of the "entertaining" 911 call made by him on December 31 to warn other drivers about the dangers of driving under the influence. Oh, and he also said that he had swallowed meth earlier, instead of smoking it'.

In addition to the DUI, Lester was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road, improper use of the center lane and no seat belt.

Lester's criminal history includes DUI, aggravated battery, drug possession and hit-and-run, according to the Polk's County Sheriff's Office.

And since no one was hurt they used another hashtag "L-o-t-o" which the department says means "Laughing our tasers off".
