Passenger arrested after threatening to kill everyone on Southwest flight

A woman was arrested and charged with making criminal threats after authorities say she threatened to kill everyone onboard her Southwest Airlines flight Saturday (Dec. 9), according to CBS Sacramento.

Valerie even shockingly tampered with the smoke detector, reps for the airline claim, but once a flight attendant caught wind of her little deed, she barged in the bathroom. The witness said the woman ripped an oxygen mask out of the ceiling as crew members forced her back into her seat.

That passenger with the video who wished not to be identified says the woman pushed a flight attendant, and then had to be physically restrained before the remaining 30 minutes of flight to Sacramento.

A woman is arrested after making death threats on a plane from Portland, Oregon to Sacramento International Airport.

"You were saying some pretty threatening things like you were going to kill everybody on the plane, why did you say that?", Thompson asked.

In a statement Southwest Airlines said, "Our reports from Flight Attendants indicate a Customer violated federal laws by both smoking onboard an aircraft and by tampering with a smoke detector in an aircraft restroom".

YouTube Is Said to Plan New Paid Music Subscription Service
The display language for the music streaming service will be available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. Google earlier this week again cut off access to YouTube on Amazon devices such as the Echo Show and the Fire TV stick.

In response, the pilot declared an emergency to receive priority landing from air traffic control, Southwest Airlines told the Sacramento Bee.

She said she was anxious about Cubello, and didn't know why she went to Sacramento.

"The safety of our crew and passengers is our top priority and we take all threats seriously".

'The flight carried 136 customers and a crew of five'.

Curbelo told CBS13 from jail that she needed to smoke because she was experiencing anxiety. She's now booked on three counts of felony criminal threats and her bail has been set at $75,000.
