CNN Grinches to Boycott White House Media Christmas Party

"The President, Barron and I are very excited for our first Christmas in the White House", Mrs Trump said in a statement.

News of CNN's plans to boycott the event was greeted positively by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.

Say what you will about President Trump and the First Lady, but these two definitely know how to decorate.

The annual event, scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m., is typically seen as a time when reporters and their bosses can mingle freely with administration members, but Trump's posture toward the press has been uniquely aggressive.

Clearly fed up by Trump's antics, CNN International quickly hit back at him in a tweet of its own. That's yours. Our job is to report the news.

'The outside world does not see the truth from them!'

Congress raises more questions on deal
TALKING TO media here, Ms Sitharaman said , "The decision to buy 36 Rafale aircrafts was taken following the due procedure". The minister was highly critical of the UPA government for not finalising the Rafale deal during its decade-long rule.

News of the Christmas party boycott, follows an opinion piece on the CNN's website Sunday, in which writers Hossein Derakhshan and Claire Wardle called for scrapping the term "fake news". #FactsFirst, ' the CNN PR team tweeted.

And on Monday, the president tweeted that CNN should be part of "a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favourite President (me)".

Then, you'll really have something to protest about when the president drops the "fake news" label on your network.

Sensitivity is reportedly high at the network over its increasingly damaged reputation following an array of fake news blunders, which include the manipulation of quotes, selectively editing videos, and the publication of fake news stories.

The Justice Department allegedly told AT&T that the $85billion merger would only be approved if it sells off CNN's parent company or DirecTV.

Revealing the presidential mansion's holiday furnishings on November 27, FLOTUS decked out the White House in a classic yuletide theme dubbed "Time-Honored Traditions", which included a bevy of twinkling Christmas trees, a live ballet performance from "The Nutcracker", and a 300-pound gingerbread replica of the White House. Cease protecting Democrats. Halt the double standards when it comes to President Trump and the Republican Party.
