Russian Federation posts video game screenshot as 'proof' of U.S. helping IS

"The US are actually covering the Isis combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote the American interests in the Middle East", the statement concluded.

A woman walks at a damaged site after an airstrike in the rebel-held city of Douma, in the eastern Damascus suburb of Ghouta Syria November 2, 2017.

"The Russian Defense Ministry is investigating its civil service employee who erroneously attached wrong photo illustrations to its statement on interaction between the US-led worldwide coalition and Islamic State militants near Abu Kamal, Syria", the ministry said.

Russia's defence ministry has tried to pass off what appear to be stills from a mobile phone military simulation game as "irrefutable evidence" of cooperation between USA forces and Islamic State militants in Syria, Guardian writes.

The ministry claimed the image showed an IS convoy leaving a Syrian town last week aided by United States forces.

When Russian's Ministry of Defense first tweeted out the "evidence", they did so in multiple languages, but not all of those are available any longer.

US Senator Rand Paul's ribs broken in assault at home
McConnell told reporters in Kentucky "it's potentially a challenge" any time a Republican senator is absent from the Senate. He also had cuts to his nose and mouth and trouble breathing because of his rib injuries, according to NBC News.

Instead, it came from the smartphone game AC-130 Gunship Simulator: Special Ops Squadron.

The Russian Defense Ministry made a fool of itself today when it posted on Twitter and Facebook "irrefutable evidence" that the USA aided ISIS, which turned out to be screengrabs from a well-known video game and a video published online by the Iraqi military in 2016.

"I certainly can't verify but I have seen a report that one of the pictures came from a video game". It later reposted the same statement with different images.

Russia's defence ministry said not only did the Americans refuse to carry out a joint operation to strike Isis fighters leaving Abu Kamal but also allowed them to regroup on coalition-controlled territory.

The Russian military is investigating claims that a civilian employee attached the bogus images, state-run media reported later Tuesday.

Coalition spokesman Col. Ryan Dillon called those claims, "about as accurate as their air campaign".
