New complaints over Google's Pixel 2 XL smartphone

Third Time's a Charm: Few users again on the same Pixel community have reported that the Pixel 2 XL produces high pitch frequency sound and clicking sometimes when the screen is on or while talking on the phone.

There seems to be no end to the long list of issues related to the new Pixel 2 devices. Some have found that disabling this feature prevents the issue, others say that even just toggling it off and then on is a temporary solution. This does not appear to be a widespread issue (at least not yet), but at this point, Google really can't afford any more bad PR. There is a bit of good news, though: in that very same Google Product Forums thread, one user by the name of Adam Zeird has presented a workaround that seems to be working for some people, and it comes straight from the retro gamer's playbook.

There were some reports that the promo will only have free Google Home Minis in their standard, off-white Chalk color as part of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL pre-order bonus. It is important for us to highlight the fact that Google's Pixel 2 victory over Apple's iPhone X came with their single 12 MP Shooter itself who was quite underrated and underestimated ever since we got drenched in the portrait season. It will be interesting to see how Google is going to respond to the new issue. When users make a call the other person on the other side can not hear them. As of now, it is still unclear whether this is a hardware related issue and whether a majority of Pixel 2 XL owners have been facing the issue. However, a user shared in a recent post that the problem may be resolved by blowing into the bottom speaker. Blowing into the speaker like you would an old NES cartridge. Earlier on several Pixel 2 XL devices were reported to be suffering from screen burn-in issues and now it looks like another issue has cropped up regarding the microphone of the Pixel 2 XL device. Doing this made my microphone work again and it continues to work when it goes out. Till this problem is fixed, you can count on the word of other users who have claimed that this solution will make the mic work! This doesn't happen all the time.
