Indian hockey team thrashed Pakistan 3-1 to notch their third straight win at the Asia Cup in Bangladesh on Sunday.

Pakistan mounted heavy pressure in the last two quarters and eventually managed to score one in the 49th minute when Ali Shan found the back of the net with a reverse hit after Arslan Muhammad's initial attempt was blocked by India skipper Manpreet Singh. India conceded the first penalty corner of the match in the last minute of the quarter but Pakistan couldn't make the most of it. Now, India lies at the top of their Pool A which also features tournament hosts Bangladesh along with Japan and Pakistan.
