Marilyn Manson Crushed by Falling 'Gun' Stage Prop in NY

Marilyn Manson Crushed by Falling 'Gun' Stage Prop in NY

Videos of the incident captured a surreal scene, with some audience members gasping and others continuing to rock out; the band played on for several measures even after Manson went down.

45 minutes into his set, 48-year-old Manson attempted to climb onto what appears to be scaffolding with two giant fake pistols on either side of it.

After the stage crew lifted the prop back up, Manson lay on the ground for several minutes. Towards the middle of the song it seemed as though he tried climbing onto a prop. The American leg of the tour started earlier this week in Maryland and is set to run through October and into November in the US and the through December in Europe. He was treated at a local hospital and will recover at his home in Los Angeles. The crowd gasped collectively, the stage lights when off and then house lights came up as it was announced the concert would be cut short "due to injury".

"I was at a Marilyn Manson show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City". While no details were revealed, another spokesperson said the singer would be "okay".

Mayor Cruz, of San Juan , said these distribution centers "need to be much closer and need to provide a lot more". San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz has pleaded for help as her country tries to survive without water or power.

It was not immediately clear whether any of Manson's upcoming concert dates would be postponed due to the injury. "Then they brought out a stretcher and he was taken away". His rep said that the artists can not wait to go back on stage and that the team will offer more details on the next shows soon.

According to the rep, Manson's shows from October 2 through October 14 will be rescheduled.

He can be seen trying to shield himself with his hands as the prop collapses. The concert was the third stop on a world tour for Manson, whose 10th studio album, Heaven Upside Down, is scheduled to be released Friday.
