Powerball jackpot continues to rise

A $1 million ticket was sold in the Heights last week. That projected jackpot for Saturday's drawing is $510 million. Two other Powerball jackpots have crossed the $400 million mark so far in 2017.

The victor has the option of collecting a cash prize totaling an estimated $324.2 million, the lottery said in a statement.

The numbers draw on Wednesday night were: 09 - 15 - 43 - 60 - 64, PB 4, Powerplay 3X.

Teenager killed in Tral clashes near gunfight site
The terrorists belonged to terrorist Zakir Musa's al-Qaeda affiliate, the Ansar Ghazwat ul-Hind, a top police official confirmed. A police officer later confirmed that a teenager struck by pellets fired by security forces died in hospital from his injuries.

The Powerball jackpot has rolled over 19 times, with no victor since the June 14 drawing.

No one became a $432 million richer overnight. The largest ever was the $1.6 billion grand prize snagged by three winning tickets on January 13, 2016. If the prize amount doesn't go up before then, the jackpot would be the fifth largest in the game's history, and the eighth largest in US lottery history. There also are eight additional ways for players to win a cash prize.

Pittsburgh-area residents have been buying Powerball tickets much more frequently because of the high jackpot.
