Floods, landslides kill dozens across Nepal and India

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj held a telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Nepal Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Monday and discussed the flood situation along India-Nepal border. However, the Nepal electricity authority has said that it will take over a week to replace the electricity facility in the affected areas.

Due to continuous rainfall in different parts of the country, approximately 100,000 people in 31 districts have been affected by the floods and landslides in the last two weeks.
