'Even enemies not this barbaric': Arun Jaitley on RSS worker murder

While political murders take place across Kerala, the northern district of Kannur remains the core arena of political violence in the state. Political will and determination by the state government is needed to discipline its own cadres rather than let them loose on political opponents.

While speaking on the occasion, CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said Jaitley's visit was politically motivated and he came to execute the RSS leadership's agenda.

The state has been witnessing a series of violence involving BJP-RSS and CPI-M workers with the capital district rocked by incidents of attacks on houses of rival partymen in the past few days. "The kinds of wounds inflicted on Rajesh would have embarrassed even terrorists", the Union Minister said. He is taking stock of the booth committee formation prior to the visit of Mr Amit Shah to Kerala on October 22, his birthday, said a top BJP leader.

Jaitley, who visited the house of Rajesh, said the "karyakarta was "brutally butchered" and had 70-80 wounds on his body".

"BRUTAL, BARBARIC": Jaitley described the killing of Rajesh as brutal and barbaric. "What is the political environment meant to be created in the state?" he asked.

"The state BJP president escaped by a whisker, while the police were silent spectators".

Minnesota school gas explosion turns deadly
Three people were rescued from the top of the building, CBS Minneapolis reports. "All the windows just burst out", she said . And after 17 years with Minnehaha Academy , Berg and her upcoming wedding had students past and present chattering.

The police too were expected to be fair and if these two things did not happen, the incidents of violence would not end in the state, he added. "Governments are elected to do good for the people", the BJP leader said adding "but in Kerala, the ruling party is perpetrating violence on the people". The central party fully supports you whichever way it is necessary.

"We will not forget this heinous act".

The RSS worker was hacked to death by a group of assailants.

BJP MPs had visited the Union home minister Rajnath Singh seeking the Centre's intervention.

Chennai: The recent political violence and controversy generated by Kerala governor P Sathasivam's move in summoning chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan to Raj Bhavan following the murder of a RSS activist in Thiruvananthapuram seemingly fails to subside. They had apprised him of the arrests made in the murder case.

Union finance minister Arun Jaitley met the family members of slain RSS worker Rajesh Edavakode who was killed allegedly by CPI-M workers.
