Wonder Woman 2 Movie Confirmed

Warner Bros. officially announced at Comic-Con on Saturday that the Amazonian princess will be back for Wonder Woman II - and, yes, that seems to be the official title, based on the logo we saw in the room.

The entire upcoming slate of DC films were revealed, including Justice League, Aquaman, Justice League Dark, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, Shazam!

Thus far, Wonder Woman has made more than $385 million in the USA and $770 million around the world, CNN reported, and in its opening weekend alone made $103.1 million-the biggest opening weekend for a female director. Since then, fans have been buzzing about a sequel, and making everything official made them happy.

EW also reported that Gal will reprise her role of Diana Prince while Chris Pine will return as Steve Trevor.

And we know the setting.

Wonder Woman is also one of the highest-rated films on Rotten Tomatoes and is the DCU's biggest critical success, with both reviewers and fans. And when the simple Wonder Woman II graphic appeared at the end of a sizzle reel, the crowd went wild.

"I'm working right now on the Wonder Woman 2 script".

Last year, she and director Patty Jenkins dropped the first trailer for Wonder Woman to a rapturous reception.
