Apple unveils 'the most powerful Mac we have ever made'

Apple unveils 'the most powerful Mac we have ever made'

In a press release on its website, Apple said that, in addition to the iMac Pro, it's still working on "a completely redesigned, next-generation Mac Pro architected for pro customers who need the highest-end, high-throughput system in a modular design, as well as a new high-end pro display". Following that, we saw the introduction of watchOS 4 and a preview of what Apple is planning to deliver with the next iteration of macOS, High Sierra. The iMac Pro also supports up to 4Tb of SSD, up to 128Gb of ECC memory, and 10Gb/s Ethernet.

As is the norm for the iMac line, the displays really stand out.

The new 21.5-inch iMac Retina 4K will come with AMD Radeon Pro 555 and Radeon Pro 560 graphics. Today's MacBook and iMac upgrades finally show that Apple's heading in the right direction. There's also a 27-inch Retina 5K display, though you won't be viewing any VR through that.

The MacBook Air just won't die.

Nearly lost in the landslide of product announcements at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote was the reveal the MacBook Pro received an important update: The new laptops have the same design as the previous version, but the laptops feature new processors that should provide a speed boost.

Apple challenges Xiaomi and Samsung in wearable market
Garmin took the fifth position with shipments totaling 1.1 million units, accounting for 4.6% of global shipments, IDC said. The Chinese company shipped 3.6 million units in Q1 2017, grabbing the market share of 14.7 per cent ahead of Apple's 14.

The MacBook Air will get a speed bump and otherwise remain unchanged. However right now, it's time to talk about the MacBook Pro.

The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro features Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz, and the 15-inch MacBook Pro goes up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz. Most impressive are the updates to Safari, which may finally make holdouts using Chrome and Firefox to make the switch. Besides Apple has now incorporated support for 10 bit HVEC decode on its latest hardware. You can also visit a retail Apple store near you.

While Apple's annual WWDC event is usually focused on the software side of things for its various devices, the firm has also been known to announce new products at its event. It's not exactly an animated GIF, but it's still pretty cool. Now, two years later, Apple has a solution - its brand new Pencil Case.

So how much power does this features offer? But before you ask, yes, it's still got just that one USB-C port.
