Fox cancels 'Scream Queens' after two seasons

"Scream Queens" along with "Pitch", "Rosewood", "APB", "Bones", "Son of Zorn", and "Making History" were listed as shows canceled or almost dead for Fox network. We know, initial reaction is to simply well, scream. We have no plans to go back and tell more stories there. While the show aired its second season finale at the end of 2016, there had not been any word as to whether the network would bring it back for a third season of comedy and horror. Its Season 2 average was a 1.0 rating in adults 18-49 (Live+7).

This statement contradicts the fact that Season Two ended with a surprise cliffhanger, which will never be resolved at this point. Season 2, however, was pretty weak across the board. While a solid on-demand performer, Scream Queens' linear ratings were low. But as the first season wore on it started to dip in the numbers, and by the time the finale was broadcast the show had lost nearly half its audience.

Despite the writing on the wall, fans are still upset with the cancellation. Sure, there was the tease that #EmmaRoberts was being stalked by another Red Devil Killer, but, like, ew. we have totally done this before.

Mets: Harvey to return Friday
It's believed Harvey will file a grievance against the Mets for the suspension which is sure to add more fuel to this fire. And it wasn't just Matt Harvey . "Pretty tough situation to put him in, but it's what we had to do", Collins said.

Scream Queens boasted an all-star cast, including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Glee star Lea Michele, though it was reported in February that Lea had been released from her Fox contract to star in a comedy pilot for rival channel ABC.
