North Korea may have tested new technology in latest missile

North Korea is working to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting the United States.

In 2012, the International Hydrographic Organization, the outfit that governs the naming of bodies of water, chose to put off changing until its next meeting the name Sea of Japan, despite South Korea's request to use East Sea along with it. As an experienced negotiator, I can tell you that negotiation with these madmen will be fruitless once they have the ability to lob a nuclear missile into Chicago, Los Angeles, or NY.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to visit Washington, D.C. this week to meet with U.S. President Trump.

The statement read: "North Korea launched yet another intermediate-range ballistic missile".

The KN-15 missile reportedly refers to what North Korea calls the solid-fuel "Pukguksong-2".

Hyten added that America's early missile program was based on liquid fueled rockets that could be unstable and unsafe but "a solid is a much better solution".

The US Pacific Command said it detected and tracked what it assessed as a North Korean missile launched from land near the eastern city of Sinpo.

"The South Korean people have a very high level of tolerance for the North's rhetoric, and that has served them well for decades", said Sokeel Park, director of research and strategy for the Liberty in North Korea NGO.

"Both agreed to push forward the deployment of THAAD by US forces in Korea".

Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has warned further provocative action from North Korea is possible in the near future as the isolated nation shows no signs of abating in their mission for full nuclear capability. It is likely to be an upgraded version of the submarine-launched missile named "Pukguksong" launched last summer. Many experts also said the Trump administration's attempts to play the secondary boycott card were "unlikely to pan out", since this would be tantamount to sanctioning China directly.

They also include assurances that the USA will not revise the TRA, alter its position regarding Taiwan's sovereignty, or pressure Taiwan to enter into negotiations with China.

Trump told the Financial Times newspaper that the U.S.is prepared to act alone if China does not take a tougher stand against North Korea's nuclear program.

"I've joked before that they don't mind being hated but they definitely hate to be ignored", he said.

The United States' global sway has changed significantly under Trump, and China has everything to gain from that shift in power.

In a short and oblique statement, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reacted late Tuesday to North Korea's latest test launch of a ballistic missile with a curt "no comment". In September, the Obama administration sanctioned a Chinese company and four Chinese nationals for ties to North Korea's nuclear program for the first time, but critics said the step was not enough. Regional relations have further been strained by massive joint military drills conducted by the USA and South Korea this month and the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile system by the U.S.in South Korea. Three years later, Trump told CNN that the U.S. should get out of Iraq, especially with Iran and North Korea developing nuclear weapons.

The North's latest missile launch also came during annual military drills between the United States and South Korea.
