Flood watch, wind advisory issued for Livingston County

A wind advisory remains in effect for most of this afternoon and evening for northwestern OH, according to the National Weather Service. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

WINDS.Northwest 30 to 40 miles per hour with gusts up to 65 miles per hour.

Timing...mid morning into early evening Tuesday.

A flood watch is in effect for Fairfield County and the surrounding area until 8 p.m.

The Kankakee at Kouts was at 9.78 feet as of 7 a.m. Thursday and was expected to crest at 11.5 feet Monday morning.

Some tributaries may exceed their banks, especially if actual rainfall is at the higher end of the forecast range, the Weather Service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 63 with partly cloudy skies, the weather service said. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Sustained wind speeds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 mph and isolated gusts to 60 mph are expected. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 65.

The weekend looks to be sunny, as well, with highs Saturday and Sunday in the upper-70s.
