Outside Lands Announces 2017 Lineup: Metallica, The Who, Gorillaz

The world's original gourmet music festival takes place August 11th - 13th at San Francisco's historic Golden Gate Park, bringing together the best music, food, wine, beer, art and comedy from across the region and the world. Headlining the event are heavy rockers Metallica, legendary classic rock band The Who, British virtual band Gorillaz, New Zealand songstress Lorde, and hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest. Other notable artists on the bill include Empire of the Sun ScHoolboy Q, Little Dragon, Action Bronson, Thundercat, Maggie Rogers, Oliver Tree and many more.

After weeks of anxious waiting, the lineup has been revealed for the 10th annual Outside Lands music festival. In the rock realm, there's Queens of the Stone Age, Fleet Foxes, Belle And Sebastian, and Future Islands. To show Outside Lands' ongoing commitment to the local community, the festival has contributed almost $17 million to the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, April 6th at 10am Pacific Time and can be purchased on the festival's official website. Three-day general admission passes are $375, with VIP entry going for $795.
