Romain Dauriac 'shocked' at Scarlett Johansson divorce

In what was a complete shock to French journalist Romain Dauriac, "The Avengers" star Scarlett Johansson filed court papers last March 7, seeking a final divorce from their two-year marriage.

It was revealed earlier this week that the Oscar-nominated actress and Romain Dauriac have chose to call it quits after two-and-a-half years of marriage - with Scarlett's attorney Judith Poller serving Romain's lawyer Harold Mayerson with divorce papers. Johansson explained that their marriage was "irretrievably broken", and while consenting to joint custody of their child, she wants the 3-year-old Rose Dorothy to live with her. And then Johansson thought she wanted a shorter schedule - she would take Rose with her for three days and Dauriac would spend time with his daughter for two days, a source revealed to Page Six.

The divorce filing comes after media reports in January that the couple were separated. The 32-year-old has said she will not be commenting further on the state of her marriage.

Romain requested for his actress-ex to withdraw her public divorce filing for the sake of their child. Now, let's not confuse that for Scarlett inviting some wild slew of men into her life.

"He said: "[Romain] would like to move to France with his daughter and Ms. Johansson does a lot of traveling.
