Palace rallies Miss U support for Maxine

Miss Universe 2017 will be broadcast live from the Mall of Asian Arena in Manila on Sunday (Jan. 29) starting at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) on Fox.

Ntandoyenkosi, originally from Mkhondo in Mpumalanga, is now competing in the Miss Universe pageant, which takes place in Manila in the Philippines on Monday.

Miss Universe 2015 title holder Pia Wurtzbach and actor Derek Ramsay serves as hosts. As we count the days for Miss Universe 2016, let's take a look at how our delegates, with their ideal bodies in accentuating swimsuits, sashayed on the runway through the years.

As she prepared for the contest for the Miss Universe crown, she said it wasn't always easy to stop making comparisons with the other girls who towered over her.

The 86 contestants wore two-piece Yamamay swimwear and evening gowns of their own choosing.

The agency then assured Harvey that he will be "embraced as a family" by the Filipinos. "We are so happy, honored and proud to have Mr. Harvey in the Philippines", the tourism chief added. Harvey now has a chance to do right this year as host.

In one interview published on the official Miss Universe website, Shannon shared that she was basking in the strong home support and ready to bring home the prize.

"We are also grateful for this experience of hosting the pageant, assured and confident that the 2016 Miss Universe experience has been joyful and memorable for all the candidates and our foreign guests", Abella said.
