Shia LaBeouf charged with assault and harassment

The actor had launched a livestreamed protest, "He will not divide us", against President Donald Trump's policies on January 20 at the Museum of Moving Image in NY. The actor stationed himself outside of the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens.

The actor quarrelled with an unnamed 25-year-old man at around 12:35 a.m. EST, said police.

Less than a week into Shia LaBeouf's latest performance art piece, an incident has already happened in front of his live streaming camera.

Shia LaBeouf has been charged with misdemeanor assault following an alleged altercation at his anti-Trump art installation.

We have reached out to a representative for ShiaLaBeouf for comment.

The actor and artist has been appearing a live video stream called He Will Not Divide Us since the inauguration of President Trump on Friday. The other man refused medical attention for the scratches to his face but police responded and took LaBeouf, who was wearing an NYPD sweatshirt, into custody.

Inside an avalanche: Watch snowboarder's inflatable backpack save his life during disaster
An Australian snowboarder has shared a frightening GoPro video after he was caught in an avalanche on Whistler Mountain. The Black Diamond bag Oye wore costs $1,100 (£900, AU$1,470), and his friends recently gave it to him as a gift.

For example, one man used the platform at night to repeat a line in support of Hitler, while another group used the feed to challenge the actor, using derogatory language. Now, it has culminated in LaBeouf's arrest, caught on camera and livestreamed in real time. He was seen being escorted away from the scene in handcuffs with a police officer during a live stream of the video.

"How are we going to make this s-t OK to be a Nazi out here?"

The actor had set up a performance art piece there called #HeWillNotDivideUs, a livestreamed protest against Trump which LaBeouf began on the day of the President's inauguration and meant to make last for four years.

Shia is then seen apparently shoving the man, before the camera panned away. Members of the public are invited to come stand in front of the camera and recite the phrase "he will not divide us".

Protests are now continuing without LaBeouf.
