Dakota Pipeline decision expected; National Guard on alert

Dakota Pipeline decision expected; National Guard on alert

Charity website Change.org just published a cool new video to their YouTube page. Ben Affleck, Gal Godot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Ray Fisher (conspicuously missing Henry Cavill) all lent their voices to the protest in the above video. "To get involved with this movement go to thesacredstonecamp.org".

"As a gang of Earth defenders, we want to send a big shoutout to the Oceti Sakowin and those opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline", Miller says in the video on behalf of the group. Dakota Access, which is behind the proposed pipeline, argue the oil it would provide would help the U.S.be less dependent on foreign oil. Traveling across four states, the pipeline would transport over 570,000 barrels of crude oil per day, putting local communities at risk for spillages and latent ground contamination.

Opponents of the project insist the pipeline will pollute the Missouri River, threaten the health of Native American land, and disturb sacred sites.

Indiana University drone regulations tight despite new rules
A new regulation will make owning a commercial drone far easier, dramatically boosting industry interest. The provisions are created to minimize risks to other aircraft, people, and property on the ground.

Rezpect Our Water is the slogan for a Change.org petition started by young members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

The Standing Rock Youth, oppose the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline through the Missouri and Cannon Ball River because it poses a serious threat to the water and the land. If that were to happen, over half the drinking water in South Dakota would be contaminated in some fashion.

It is set to hit theatres on 17 November next year (17).
