Paul Pogba moves to Manchester United for record $116 million

Newly-signed Manchester United's French midfielder Paul Pogba has admitted the wait for his 89 million pound ($ 115.3 million) return to the English Premier League football club was "annoying".

"I understand that, sometimes in football, these things happen and the club breaks the record but this is only possible in clubs like Man United".

"You are right, he (Klopp) was one of them (who had spoken) but I don't comment", he told MUTV (cited by the Echo).

Since leaving Man United, Pogba has risen to global prominence and earned the admiration of millions around the world for his indomitable prowess at the heart of Juventus' midfield.

Wenger said that from a technical point of view he could see why United wanted Pogba: "The value of a player is dependent on his talent, the expected strengthening of the team, his age and of course his resale value".

Paul Pogba has been formally announced as Manchester United's latest signing, though the manner in which the Frenchman has been unveiled leaves a lot to be desired.

United manager Mourinho has been tasked with bringing back the glory days to the 20-time English champions after three lean years since Alex Ferguson's retirement.

And the Ballon d'Or is something that Pogba will hope to get his hands on while he is at Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho believes the midfielder has "everything" to achieve success at Old Trafford.

'But if anybody is thinking this and thinks I know what I'm talking about, then I need to make it clear that I really don't have a clue. I know he went on loan, came back, went on loan again, and it was just Jesse Lingard scoring goals as always.

Pogba had signed for United on a three-year deal with a one-year renewal option which then United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was keen to activate but the 18-year-old was frustrated by a lack of first-team opportunities at the club and made a decision to leave.

'He looks like a kid who is back to his old school and is finding people that he cares about and people that love him a lot. It was like I just came back home. They were reliant on the front three to create chances, but the addition of Pogba will allow Manchester United to launch attacks from deep.

"I just feel happy".
