US intelligence: Foreign hackers spying on campaigns

The United States sees evidence that hackers, possibly working for foreign governments, are snooping on the presidential candidates, the nation's intelligence chief said Wednesday.

Four years earlier, USA intelligence officials determined that hackers working for the Chinese government had infiltrated campaign computer networks of then-Sen. Nevertheless, cyber experts say Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's campaign networks aren't secure enough to eliminate the risk.

During the 2012 presidential election, both candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were subjected to numerous foreign and domestic attacks on their campaign websites.

The campaign trail is being surveilled - by hackers. "This exceeded traditional lobbying and public diplomacy".

Associated Press said the Trump and Clinton campaigns did not respond to its questions about cyber-security. Bernie Sanders continues to challenge Clinton for the nomination, but Clinton has an overwhelming delegate lead.

As for Ms Clinton, she is still being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for using a private email server at home while she was Secretary of State, potentially making it far easier for foreign intruders to hack into her messages, some of which may or may not have contained classified information. Sanders apologized for his campaign improperly gaining access to Clinton campaign data and fired a data director. And for a campaign of any size, security of voter data and internal systems is paramount.

But the abandonment of the United game meant that the clash at the Liberty Stadium was played to a conclusion as normal. In response, Jefferson Montero headed home Angel Rangel's cross but the goal was ruled out for a push on Bacary Sagna.

"These campaigns are not working on encrypted platforms", added V. Newton Miller, the head of a Milwaukee-based encryption firm.

The Anonymous hacking group recently said it would target presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, urging its supporters to cyberattack his website and leak private information.

"If they shut down a candidate's website, I mean OK".

The Republican and Democratic candidates for president will begin receiving intelligence briefings after being officially nominated at party conventions this summer.

One letter obtained by hackers showed McCain expressing his support for Taiwan. China's government presumably backed the hack. Please see our terms of service for more information.
