Zuckerberg to press on with access camapign despite setback

"Today, we are taking an important step toward improving 360 video in VR: Our powerful dynamic streaming technology for 360 video is coming to Gear VR".

"VR is the next platform where anyone create anything that they want", said Zuckerberg.

The media was asked to put on the Samsung Gear VR headset for a virtual reality presentation on the Galaxy S7, S7 Edge and the Gear 360, but when the journalists took it off, they were greeted with the sight of the social networking titan in his signature gray T-shirt and blue jeans.

"People have already watched more than a million hours of video in Gear VR", explained a blog post from Facebook following the event.

Cosby's wife slated to give deposition in defamation case
He has denied their allegations and countersued the seven women suing him in MA on the grounds that they defamed him. They argued the deposition, scheduled for Monday, would create a " media circus" and threaten her personal safety.

Commenting about the necessity of partnering itself with Samsung, the Harvard drop out said that Samsung is the only company that can build the OLED screens at the scale needed to deliver the "low-persistence rending" required to make VR a mainstream technology. "Pretty soon, we're going to live in a world where everyone has the power to share and experience whole scenes as if you're just right there in person". "And more than 20,000 360 videos have been uploaded".

Zuckerberg said the main thing he learned from the India situation is that not every country is the same when it comes to dealing with government regulations to provide access to Internet. And now we're entering a world where that's video.

Addressing a gathering at the Goldman Sachs Technology and Internet Conference in San Francisco recently, Facebook chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg said that turning virtual reality into a business is part of the firm's 10-year plan rather than an immediate action item. He said engineers at Oculus and Facebook are also working on reducing network-related challenges.

Instead of the entire 360 video in high resolution, theses videos show only the pixels that actually a user is looking at in the highest quality. Facebook, with Oculus, are committed to this for the long term.
